Conference cost increases next week.
The domain business’ biggest conference of 2011 is a month away. But you can make two smart financial moves by buying your DOMAINfest conference pass by the end of this week:
1. The price goes up $100 on January 1, so you can save $100 by getting your pass this week.
2. By purchasing in 2010 you can record your expense on this year’s taxes, thus lowering your current tax liability. (You can also do well by purchasing your plane ticket.)
Seems like a pretty good reason to get your pass today if you think you’re going to go.
Here’s what I’m most looking forward to for this year’s show, which takes place February 1-3 in Santa Monica, CA:
– Bob Parsons’ keynote presentation “Luck & Perspective” on Tuesday
– PITCHfest event where people with products/services for the industry can pitch their wares
– Connecting with the largest domain business audience of the year all in one place
– The small party Thursday night
