DomainConvergence postpones conference.
DomainConvergence has postponed its conference originally scheduled for September 23-24. The conference will be rescheduled for next year.
Event organizer Frank Michlick said it was postponed due to a personal emergency and lower expected attendance because of so many competing conferences in the same time of year. Michlick notified sponsors
and attendees of the change.
DomainConvergence was the first conference created in Canada. It debuted in Niagara Falls in 2008 and the 2009 event was held in Toronto. Last year DomainConvergence attracted 40 attendees. Speakers included the Castello Brothers and Christian Heilmann, developer evangelist at Yahoo! Michlick got the idea for the conference after organizing several DomainDinners.

Josh says
Hhhmmm couldnt make this one so may next year is time to plan I guess 🙂
Frank Michlick says
@Josh: Would love to have you there next year.
Meyer says
I think it is great that Frank started
his domain meetings and then conference.
He is not trying to make this project a
major profit center. That is probably
why he postponed it til next year.
I wish him much success with his next
conference.
