Sharing Domain Parking Stats is Easy with DNW Certified Stats

Introducing an easier way to share domain name parking stats.
I’m excited to announce the launch of DNW Certified Stats, a service that makes it easy to share domain name parking stats.
Here’s how it works:
1. You fill out a simple form including your domain names you want to display stats for.
2. DNW Certified Stats fetches the stats from your parking company and creates an online certificate you can share.
3. You provide your unique certificate code to anyone you wish to see your stats. They can then login to view the stats.
For example, here’s a certificate I created for CommunityRelations.com. Just click the link (registration required) and then you can view the stats.
Certificates can include one domain or many domains. You have full control to hide the certificate from viewing at any time or delete it. It’s easy to post a link to your stats in sales forums or in private emails. It’s all up to you.
DNW Certified Stats currently supports four parking companies, but many more are on the way. The service is in beta, and I welcome your feedback. Please send any suggestions directly to me at andrew (at) domainnamewire.com.

great idea, I wander how they get the data from parking companies.
Great idea – congratulations on the launch!
Great Tool… I will check it…
Congrats Andrew!
Most domain owners are reluctant to sell based on traffic or revenue, but when this happens your tool should be perfect to share stats that buyers should trust.
I am impatient you add the missing major parking services.
Definitively a tool I will recommend.
@Andrew, brilliant man. Excellent idea. Will be used by all.
Francois – I’m diligently working on getting the other parking companies in there.
In addition to buying/selling, there are other reasons you might want to share stats:
-Considering a development partnership and want to see how much traffic the domain gets
-Working out a “guarantee” with a parking company and need to show them your true revenue
Awesome tool, Andrew!
Great job!
awesome work – surprised this hadn’t come out earlier.
What procedures are in place to prevent a person asking for stats on a domain name they don’t own?
(i.e. to elaborate, they ask for certified stats to be created, in order to spy on someone else’s portfolio who never signed up with the stats service at all)
@ George – you have to enter your account information. If the domain isn’t in the account, it can’t pull data on it.
Nice idea, Dub-A
George submitted a great question…
But in all reality, the domains that get “worthy to announce” traffic stats are all pretty much sucked up, controlled, and if someone wants a PPC performer in the impressive traffic stats section, the seller will provide this info because most likely, any domain name getting decent PPC rev is going to go for high 4-5-6 figures.
Ultimately, because I always get requests for domains with “traffic revenue based on PPC”, I believe there are no more domains in this category that are available for affordable prices. This is because not only do the domains have PPC traffic rev to factor in their value, but they most likely have the TOP LEVEL brand name as a Category Killer. So you’re looking at a domain name that is out of reach for most businesses and domainers.
I’ve received buy offers on domains I owned based purely on how much monthly rev the domains bring. Since I’m a FT domainer, my monthly rev grows pretty slowly, but I know that within 24 months, someone will pay me $100k+ for SolarClothing.com. Why? Because everyone will be focusing on utility clothes, using solar as an energy source that will recharge their laptop, cellphone, ipod, or other handheld device that is popular.
Bottom Line: You can’t predict the value of a domain based solely on traffic stats and PPC revenue. You have to analyze the domain and consider it as a maturing investment or a dud.
