265 .Co Domains That Weren’t Registered in Landrush

Good keyword domains still available in .co.

Now that the .co landrush has ended, I have compiled a list of 265 .co domain names that weren’t picked up in the period. That means they will be available on July 20. But many of these keyword domains will be in demand, meaning you need to pre-register them. For a list of registrars and pricing for pre-registering domains, see this guide.

Please note that I haven’t checked any of these domains against trademarks, but none of them pop out to me as being an issue. You should double check yourself if you have any questions.

I was going to take comic, file, form, and article. The list is mostly gone now! Nice names. I’m happy with the few I plan to develop.

what makes you think you’re going to get “them” to develop ? :)

  3. July 18th, 2010 | 12:26 pm

    Great names.
i am afraid any thing left over in this list at the moment.

suggession : culcatta has been renamed Kolkata years ago.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolkata

I am not sure if .co domain is going to worth investing it.. unless you get some single keyword names such as in your list. We will see

How did you find out that these were not registered during landrush ? Where can I check this ?

^^^ I would like to know this too? Also, any way to know if a landrush domain that I wanted will be auctioned or if I was the only person after it?

Wait 2 years and get them all…really cheap ;)

Just FYI I already had all of these in backorder, so expect auctions kids, and expect me to be in ALL OF THEM.

  9. July 18th, 2010 | 6:17 pm

@Barry, as they weren’t in landrush, they will be on first come first served basis and not an auction.

  10. July 18th, 2010 | 10:06 pm

Unless you pre-order domains at NameJet, you won’t be in any sort of auction.

And if you believe that your a tool. BTW there is no way you know what was purchased via the landrush period unless your part of the .co registrar company. I purchased a few landrush’s and I have yet to find out if ill be even going to auction or being awarded the domains I applied for. All I know is ill find out sometime next week im guessing on the 20th and thats for landrush… not the pre registration.

I pre-ordered domains in the Landrush period and I still hadn’t news if they’re going to auction.

    Please don’t confuse people. ;)

If an auction occurs it will begin on the 26th of July and they should notify you within 5 days of it starting according to the official websites FAQ’s.

Interesting article! However it’s the .co’s you did not mention which were not taken in the landrush that I am interested in.

  16. July 19th, 2010 | 8:10 am

so if i had access to the starting list you used andrew with say the top 2000 words all the rest were taken in the landrush for .co, i guess what i am saying is is there a middle category of names not taken and not on the list (ie ones you liked?)

    Andrew

    On Network solutions it says

    >>> If we are unable to secure your .CO domain name at the time of General Availability you will receive a complete refund. <<<

Is the refund back to the payment processor or to the NS account which can be used to register domains ?

  18. July 19th, 2010 | 9:14 am

@ Charley – can’t speak for each registrar, but I believe most of them will refund the charge on your credit card.

  19. July 19th, 2010 | 10:45 am

nice domain list, guess most of those will be gone by tomorrow.

    Hello
Can you explain, folks, why .co is so huge?
It echoes like .tel,.me etc or maybe Im wrong…
    Thank you

The real good commercial terms are long gone… Until the registrars learn how to play fair it sucks to be in our position…. Sure there are nice names listed above but what about nicer names like seo.co , cars.co etc

  24. July 19th, 2010 | 11:12 pm

Arrgghh, some of the domains I was going to register.

But you list them here and attract more competitions !

  25. July 20th, 2010 | 2:04 pm

    Thanks for the list .
.CO also good for hack domain

  26. July 28th, 2010 | 11:27 pm

Wow I pre-regged over 50+ .co’s and only won one which was http://clone.co . Anyone else have any luck?

  27. November 17th, 2010 | 3:01 pm

    Awesome list!
Im going to check if any of these are still available.
If you or anyone here actually has a developed .CO domain – I am providing a free backlink on my .co blog if you are interested in it.
