Russell Hantz: Survivor Show finalist, Jerk/No Morals/Most hated/But-revered-by-people-who-want-to Win-at-any-cost, but as he lost the game, to his disbelief and disappointment, afterwards he publicly attacked the female winner by saying:

“This ain’t no social event!”

“THIS AIN’T NO SOCIAL EVENT!”

Many articles have been written on why Russell’s ambitious, conniving, use-and-abuse tactic was so successful on its face during the game, but devastatingly useless at the end. Most articles I’ve read say that his ultimate failure was that he forgot it’s “not all about him and his goal of winning by manipulating people,” but how they perceived him at the end after he had worked to vote them out of the game.

What the show analysts discovered: You shouldn’t be so driven to do anything and everything with the sole focus of beating everyone into the dirt to be Numero Uno. Why?

-Because you WILL do something unethical.
-You WILL skirt the edges of morality.
-You WILL utilize your best resources and most powerful friends to unfairly take advantage of others.
-You WILL eventually take a stance of “eat the babies if there is no other food around.”
- You will, at some point, doing something to WIN that will instead become your Waterloo.
- Your Waterloo may just be how a lot of people you took advantage of come back to haunt you.

So by beating his competitors in the battles but failing to maintain a “social relationship” with them, he created enemies that came back to hate him. They didn’t vote for him to win in the end, which is the ultimate goal in the game, SURVIVOR.

In the future, there WILL be attention on this idiot who is single-mindedly full of himself – because he’s in the position to make money. What he fails to consider is that he will taint his name, blacken his soul, and the secret of his delusions of grandeur will eventually make him a laughing stock, or worse.

I think I’ll write a blog about Russell Hantz, who I just described above. It will be a morality play that few domainers (includes companies) will probably read, but stay tuned. I just hope there aren’t any domainers out there with Russell’s idea of success being:

“This Ain’t No Social Event!”

Domaining is, in fact, a social event.
