The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.This is just the latest attempt by governments large & small to shake down the citizenry.Matters not who’s in office.Thumbs up to Amazon.Nice preemptive strike.Taxation DOES NOT equal progress.Taxing authorities from the feds down to the locals suffer a curious paradox of being able to quickly sniff out potential taxation targets…and then inefficiently squandering the take.Actually-no paradox exists.That’s just their game plan from the start.

I agree, this is a good move on Amazon’s part to not let State Legislator attempt to take more from the pie; a cost that would eventually be pushed to the consumer anyway.

Bad news for NC affiliates but GREAT news for all of us.

Hopefully this will make national news AND have negative effects on North Carolina therefore no other state will EVER do this again.

We have moved from a manufacturing economy to a service economy. Now let’s get ready for the Internet economy sans North Carolina.
