D: So you're saying that the domain world should be run by greedy, unscrupulous domainers, rather than by greedy, unscrupulous lawyers, because the former is cheaper?

I suppose that's logical, even though I imagine most people would prefer for both sets of people to be shipped off to a deserted island formerly used for nuclear-bomb testing.

Besides that, Jim Carrey makes, what, $10 million a year? He probably figures $3k to $8k to screw you over to be money well spent.

You say that the domain was "not big earner" -- but that indicates to me that you were making at least *some* money from Jim Carrey's famous name. Not cool, dude.

And why should a complainant REWARD you with $2K for each domain you've registered containing that complainant's famous name?

It was my domain, not big earner and if Mr Carrey would have asked I would give it to him. unfortunately everything is now run by greedy lawyers. Most of the WIPOs would be cheaper if complainant would offer $2K to the domain owner. Instead, lawyers charge $5~$10K and they lose sometimes, too. Sad reality - world (and especially USA) is run but scrupuous people, usually bellow average intelligent, who call themself ESQ (!)
