Frank, these are sites I'm advertising on, not that I'm hosting ads on. In other words, I'm promoting a product and these are the stats from Google's network for my product.

Andrew, I take it that all your sites used in this study have some degree of content development?

If you are advertising a domain with content on it, then it's no longer a domain but a content site. You could have any underlying domain for the content and still convert similar ratios.

Agreed. We have all sorts of ads showing up on parked pages and without exception, they are doing great.
