@ Antoinette – Off of memory, I think they can raise 7% on .com and 10% on .net for 5 of the next 7 years. So you can expect these increases this year and then the next three years.

Get used to it. VeriSign has a monopoly and their contract lets them raise these prices, so they have no reason not too. In some ways, it’s their duty to VeriSign shareholders.

Sh_t …. who is going to stop them raising prices every year or two into perpetuity, just like postage stamps?

I guess you could try to find the opportunity in all this if you are an optimist.
