Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'm going to add most of what you mentioned, although I want to keep some of the new categories out until there's more than a couple options.

Hi Andrew,

Congratulations on your third year with your informative survey!

Here are some suggestions from my observations in the turbulent year of 2007 in our industry:

1. For domain auction sites, you should probably do a "Sedo/GreatDomains" entry instead of Sedo by itself. Their purchase of GreatDomains figures in prominently to our business. I would also add LeaseThis.com if Sendori is in this category.

2. For influential people in the domain industry, I would add Ammar Kubba (Trafficz.com) , Jothan Frakes and Ron Sheridan (Oversee.net), Dan Warner (Fabulous.com), Frank Michlich and Adam Strong (Domainnamenews.com), Adam Dicker (DNForum.com), Andrew Allemann (Domainnamewire.com - you may have heard of him!), Mike "Zappy" Zapolin of Internet Real Estate, inc., Matt Bentley (Sedo); Pete Lamson and Brian Carr of NameMedia, Inc.

3. I second David's nomination of GeoDomain Expo for Domain conferences. I would also talk to Monte and Victor about which industry-specific conferences they feel sells the most domains in the Moniker auctions, and add those too. Step outside our industry and try to promote categorized internet conferences who have participated Moniker's wise promotion of domain sales within their marketing realms.

4. I would think about the domain industry magazines, Domainer Magazine and Modern Domainer magazine. Which is best?

5. I would create a new category for the official domain industry charity: My choice -- Grassroots.org.

6. I would add a "What company or person introduced the most controversial new features that negatively impacted domainers?" question. If I end up on the list for starting my blog, I will go into the fetal position and have pizza's delivered to my darkened apartment for three weeks (the case of scotch will already be in my closet for easy access.) Frank Schilling will have to personally come over and convince me that life IS worth living, especially when you make over $30 million a year. lol

I'm looking forward to your nominations and the winners of your awards, Andrew. Good job.
