The .mobi does not plateform just yet for video ads for your mobile phone. Though once it hits it will skyrocket. >mobi are just a play right now for the bigger investors, a buy and hold strategy, you can't get any ppc money from your .mobi right now so prices are leveling off.. I mean how can you complain about buying a 60.00 .mobi and 4 months later you get offers in 5 digit range like I have, on at least 6 of the names...

>the .mobi is strong but is retreating a bit back which is good... He did not buy flowers.mobi because of mothers day.

We should all thank the editor for his work and views on this event.

[...] Another successful TRAFFIC conference in NYC this week. Over $10 Million in domains sold at live auction according to Domain name wire who posted live results yesterday. (6/21/07) The $10 million dollar “pot” is expected to increase dramatically with the silent auction. I like to see these events and the exposure they bring to the domain industry. As Frank Schilling is fond of saying (and I absolutely agree), Dotcom IS the top domain. Looks like .mobi owners found out with lack of sales from overpricing the reserve. While a think .mobi can have it’s place, it’s definitely not the extension to topple dotcom or even rival for a moment. It was quite surprising the levels some of the prices went to though, some very high bids on the .mobi names, however, if those name were dotcom, the prices would have gone up quite a bit more. I’m just a big dotcom fan, not knocking the .mobi’s especially since I own a few :)) Go .mobi Go! LOL. [...]
