Verisign doesnt need increased profit from Internet services, they need to fix their other businesses so domain registrars don't have to keep subsidising them. From Verisign's most recent quarterly results: "Revenue in its Internet Services Group rose to $204.5 million from $172.8 million, offsetting a decline to $208.2 million from $216.3 million in Communication Services."
