The whole 'asshole' comment thing was meant in play from my perspecive, and was said in fun. The hundereds of participants in the audience who witnessed the interaction would also opine this, but the reference wasn't specifically to me, and I was not in any way offended or feel put out by it. As I sincerely stated, is was an honor to have Vint join the Roundtable to speak, and it was an experience I won't forget, plus it was cool to hear, for me and for many of the people in the keynote, about the origins and misgivings of where Gore did make helpful strides in the network interconnections early on to drive the evolution of the internet. That he praised Gore's efforts, does not help Mr. Cerf at all. It is obvious that he voted for Gore and is still sore that he lost! Seems to me an apology is in order to Mr. Frakes.
