Macau.com sells for $550,000

The domain name market is off to a roar in 2006.

4 domains have sold for 6 figures in the past 2 weeks, according to DNJournal. Macau, a gambling destination, saw its .com sells for $550,000. Brown.com sold for $300k, Blocks.com for $130k, and Dora.com for $100k. Not bad!

A number of expired domains sold for big bucks at Snapnames. Some of the bigger names include AlternativeEnergy.com for $50,138, AutoTransporter.com for $26,000, and LaserShow.com for $24,527.

eBay managed to make the list this week after BS.net sold for $15,100.
