Another month, more great results from the TrafficClub parking program.
My RPM at TrafficClub held steady this month, buoyed by one click for over $18. I’ve had some high dollar clicks before, but nothing like that. The funny thing is the domain that got the click was one that hadn’t received more that a few page views since I registered it about 9 months ago. I probably would have let it expire had it not been for the click – which just paid for 3 years of registration!
TrafficClub added Skenzo to its mix last month, and this paid dividends for me. Although its RPM for me has proven similar to other programs, it really helped out with one domain that Google used to optimize well and no longer does. Give me a minute to complain about Google Adsense for Domains…I just don’t understand their optimization. One of my domains pulled in an RPM over $100 some days and just $10 other days. It’s because they changed the keywords on the domain many times. Some keywords were clearly better than others, but they kept placing the low value and low click keywords on the page. I just don’t understand it.
January Results:Overall RPM – $34.52
DomainSponsor Generic- $19.84 RPM
DomainSponsor Optimized – $36.86 RPM
Google for Domains – $36.53 RPM
Skenzo $39.36 RPM
Highest RPM for domain receiving over 100 views – $296.08
Lowest RPM for domain receiving over 100 views – $4.86
