Sedo sells 958 domains in August

Domain name aftermarket powerhouse Sedo announced that it sold 958 domains last month. The total sales value for these domains was $1,846,697, or an average of $1,928 per domain. I recommend ignoring averages in the domain name sales market. After all, sales like News.net for $150k (which will be figured into September’s sales numbers) will skew the rest of the results. The best figure to examine is the median sales price, which Sedo does not disclose. The median will be much lower.
