The world’s biggest registrar, GoDaddy, announced a couple special offers worthy of noting.
First, you can get .com domain names for only $1.99 with the purchase of any non-domain product. This is a good deal if you’re planning to buy another service, such as hosting or e-mail. But it’s not that great if you just want the domain.
Second, GoDaddy is offering a sale on .us and .biz domains. They are $6.95 each for a limited time.
GoDaddy’s $1-off coupon code still seems to be working. Just enter coupon code candy in the promotion code box when you check out to get $1 off your order.
If you want private registrations, you really can’t beat 1&1s new everyday offer of $5.99 for your domain name including free privacy. Most registrars charge around $8-$10 for private registrations on top of the annual registration fee!
