NetPoker.com sells for $80,000

It was another good week for domain name sales, and the second week in a row that a poker-related domain led the charts. Poker.com sold for $80,000 in a private transaction. Other notable sales were FreeCellPhone.com at $61,000+ and TextMessage.com at $35,000, both sold at Sedo. This past week also saw a high dollar .ca (Canada) sale with Searching.ca selling for $31,500.
Also surprising this week were some low 3 character .com sales. This just proves that if you look hard enough you can still find a great deal. At least 5 3 letter domains sold for under $10,000. Among those was GNE.com at Afternic for $5,000 and OMU.com for $5,700 at Sedo. The lucky buyers of these domains can expect do make at least a 4-fold return over the next couple years.
