U.S. Sen. Barack Obama almost loses domain name

According to The Chicago Tribune, up-and-coming political start U.S. Sen. Barack Obama almost let his domain name expire. Obama’s domain, www.barackobama.com, was about to be dropped when drop service Pool.com contacted Obama and offered to help him get the domain back at no charge.

It still surprises me that politicians don’t put domain name management at the top of their to-do lists!
