.au to release 20,000 geographic domain names

.au, Austrialia’s CCtld, will remove restrictions on 20,000 geographic domains opening them up for registration. A full list of these domain names will be available in about six weeks, according to this article. Domains will not be auctioned off. If there is more than one applicant for a domain name, a lottery will be held.
