Local.com goes for $700k

Interchange Corporation (NASDAQ: INCX), known primarily for its pay-per-click services, picked up domain name Local.com for $700,000 and issued a press release about its plans. Interchange will offer a number of local portals (e.g. chicago.local.com) which will integrate with its local pay-per-click offerings. Perhaps it will be like CitySearch.com, with better integration of paid for performance listings.
